Your Vintage Paper Seismic Data
Seismic sections, well logs, maps and other associated documents for
new exploration opportunities and archive projects often exist in hard
copy format. REVIVE provides a convenient, high quality solution for
conversion of existing paper seismic section data to digital format
for subsequent reprocessing and loading on workstations. Older datasets
can be re-used (and reprocessed) and integrated with newer surveys.
Scanning
and reconstruction of seismic sections with REVIVE retains the full
dynamic range of the data.
A grid
is constructed containing timing line and CDP trace information. Previous
interpretation is removed using raster editing software to clean up
the image prior to reconstruction. Reconstructed data can be delivered
in trace sequential SEG-Y format or enhanced by further processing algorithms.
